The books, podcasts, and items that have added value this month.
Reading
One Day in December - I just started reading this holiday-themed fiction book that’s perfect for this cozy season. The story follows Laurie, who locks eyes with a stranger on a bus one December night and instantly feels a spark. Convinced he’s her soulmate; she spends the next few years hoping for a chance encounter - until her best friend and roommate introduces Laurie to her new boyfriend, Jack, who turns out to be the bus stranger. Told from both Laurie and Jack’s perspectives, the book takes you through their tangled connection and all the twists that come with it.
Eating
E&P Boulangerie Sourdough – If you are in San Diego, RUN to the next farmer’s market in Little Italy to score a loaf or two of E&P Boulangerie’s sourdough. We’ve had both the rosemary and jalapeno cheddar loaves and both are unreal. While you are at their booth, stop next door to Dirt Food to grab your alkaline coffee powder!

I finally got my brows done after neglecting them for way too long at Melt West. Amada recently opened her new space in Solana Beach and it is SO cute and has such an aesthetic vibe! For any San Diego girlies who need some brow TLC, Melt West is a must!

Podcasts
...the key to unlocking your best health and new research to improve longevity – This episode dives into everything C15 – an essential fatty acid that was discovered by studying US Navy dolphins right here in San Diego. This episode influenced me to purchase Fatty 15 to try it for myself, and I must say, I feel like my sleep and energy have benefited from this supplement!
Why women should avoid mammograms and other cancer bombshells - This episode was super eye-opening, especially after recently experiencing my first mammogram. It offers valuable insights and is a must-listen for anyone approaching the age when mammograms become a key part of routine health screenings.
Let me know if you have any other podcast recs – we will be driving back to Phoenix for Christmas and I love making a podcast playlist to fill the 5+ hour dive!
